BEREA, OHIO – To the human ear, sound generated by the vehicle you are
riding in is instantaneous. That's because, under standard conditions, sound waves travel at 761 mph—something on the order of 1,200 feet per second.
Controlling sound is a tricky business. Unfortunately, traditional means of exhaust sound control also restrict exhaust flow, thereby reducing performance.

the CORSA engineering team to fine-tune each application to eliminate resonance—that irritating element of the exhaust sound spectrum that wears on your nerves.
The CORSA muffler features a very unique internal design that controls sound with
sound. The core of the muffler is a non-restrictive straight-through pipe with a 360-degree opening to a tuned chamber on the inlet side. Sound pressure waves
escape into this opening and travel the length of the chamber to then be reflected back 180 degrees out of phase. CORSA cancels the undesirable sound qualities
, including resonance, with the out of phase sound waves. At idle and moderate throttle application, the RSC technology delivers a pleasing exhaust note that is
refined, yet muscular. More aggressive use of the throttle delivers a bolder sound; exactly when and where you want it.
