CORSA PERFORMANCE® EXHAUSTS RELEASES CORVETTE C4 L98 SYSTEM
Tuned Specifically for 1986-91 Models
BEREA, Ohio - CORSA Performance®, known by Corvette enthusiasts for
their great-sounding exhausts, has expanded their C4 product line with a system specifically tuned for the L98 engine combination.
 "CORSA has been supplying the Corvette market since our very first automotive exhaust, and now owners of the L98-equipped C4 can experience
the CORSA distinction," said Michael Schwartz, chief business officer, CORSA Performance. "Our exhausts tune in the good sounds and cancel the resonance and drone, without the use of baffles or steel wool
packing material."
Using the company's patented Reflective Sound Cancellation(tm) (RSC(tm))
technology, the CORSA exhaust allows for a full-bodied, aggressive sound during acceleration and a quiet resonance-free note at cruising speeds.
"When introduced, the L98 delivered good power to the Corvette," added
Schwartz. "The CORSA exhaust, with its straight-through, nonrestrictive design, will increase horsepower and torque even more."
The Corvette C4 - fourth generation - debuted in 1984; the following year it
came equipped with the L98 engine. The CORSA exhaust for the C4 L98 covers 1986-91 models. The L98 was eventually replaced by the LT1, which is also covered by a CORSA system.
Hand-built in the U.S.A. from 2.5-inch 304 stainless steel, the CORSA
exhaust system for the Corvette C4 L98 comes with twin, 3.5-inch double-wall Pro-Series tips for a performance-bred finishing touch. Each tip is
polished to a mirror finish. No welding or cutting is required for the bolt-on system. Complete installation hardware and an illustrated, full-color installation guide are also included.
The exhaust has a limited lifetime warranty, is 50-state emissions legal, is
compliant with the requirements of the SAE J1169 sound level measurement standard and does not void the new vehicle warranty. Systems can be purchased direct from CORSA Performance or through
select retailers/distributors nationwide.
