Not a bad install at all, 2021 C8s will throw a CEL, luckily quick call to Cicio Performance and their plug and play modules fixed the issue. Car sounds amazing like it should!
Great exhaust. Went with no valves or mufflers. Definitely double if not three times louder. Especially in 2-4 gears above 2500 rpms. But on the highway in 7-8 gears it quiets down to an enjoyable low highway sound. Exactly what I was looking for. You will not regret this if you are really wanting to wake this thing up and have enjoyable highway cruising. Very rarely goes into v4 but when it does it is not that bad. With a mode and different settings this exhaust is still manageable. Did not throw any codes at all. 2020 shadow grey coupe
The instructions say you can delete the NPP valves without throwing a check engine light.....That might work for the 2020's but not true for the 2021 C8. It will throw a CEL every time it does not see the NPP valves. I have a dear friend that works for a Chevy dealer and that has the scanner/software to get into the C8. He did a relearn on the AFM valves and it still threw a CEL after we unplugged the NPP valves. I fabricated some brackets for the NPP's that had stops to simulate the valves being installed on the car. They are similar to ones Corsa provided for the AFM valves except they have adjustable pins instead of slots cut out. They worked and we were able to get rid of the CEL. The Exhaust sounds fantastic! It IS pretty loud but this is the straight pipe option so that's to be expected. I would buy them again.
