I ended up with the Touring sound level after initially going with the Sport level. For me the Touring sound is just right. The ecotec 5.3s have a bit of a flat loud sound to them at about 1800 rpm while accelerating in the higher gears. The Sport system sounds great, but it does let some of this engines natural drone come through( only while accelerating in a vary narrow RPM range ). To put it another way, you can take your wife or your mom out to dinner or on a 500 mile trip and you will not hear any complaints with the Touring system. While the Sport system has a sound that not everyone may like. The Touring system, in addition to having zero unpleasant sound at any point in the power band, in any gear, also just sounds great. It has a nice burble that can heard can be heard in the cab if the radio is off, and will offend no one but a true hater of the internal combustion engine. One final point, the description of the Touring system says " slightly louder than stock ", now if you own of these 14+ GM trucks with the factory exhaust, you know how deathly quiet they are, which may lead you to wonder if you will even hear much difference with the Touring system. I can tell that you that, yes you will definitely notice the difference and that it is worth the money. GM made these 5.3 ecotecs so quiet they could idle in a library and no one would hear them. With the Corsa Touring system they sound like a vehicle with a V8 should.
