Since the launch of the Ford S550 Mustang in 2015, CORSA has been focused on delivering performance parts to the Mustang market that exceed customer expectations. That journey began back in late Fall of 2014 as we designed our Xtreme Cat-back exhaust system for the 2015-2017 Ford Mustang GT and continues today with the launch of our carbon fiber air intake offerings for the 2018+ Ford Mustang.

The 2018+ Ford Mustang GT 5.0L V8 carbon fiber air intake is available in 2 unique configurations, open element, or closed box, allowing the consumer to pick and choose how they want their mustang to look and perform. Each system offers the consumer a choice of two high-performance air filtration options. The MaxFlow 5 oiled filter offers the consumer the tried-and-true performance of oiled filtration, while the DryTech synthetic filter offers up to 50K mile maintenance intervals without the need of re-oiling. Regardless of the filter chosen the air intakes have been dyno tested to deliver up to 21 horsepower and 11LB-FT of torque while outflowing the stock filter by up to 18%.

Beyond performance, like all CORSA Performance carbon fiber air intakes, the intakes bring unparalleled aesthetics to the engine bay. Featuring a high gloss finish and a one-by-one weave construction, the 100% carbon air duct presents flawlessly and fits just as well as it looks. The MAF sensor mounting location features a machined anodized aluminum plate precisely and securely locating the MAF sensor simultaneously optimizing airflow and preventing check engine lights. Depending on the intake chosen, a full enclosed airbox with a patented lid design or black powder coat aluminum heat shield melds seamlessly into the engine bay.
